Lady Ga Ga promotes safe sex & so does the Condom-Queen

Her songs may be oozing with sex, but that doesn’t mean Lady Gaga is promoting it to her “Little Monsters.”

The 24-year-old avant-garde – and often pantsless – pop singer has gone on record to stress holding off on having sex.

“Something I do want to celebrate with my fans is that it’s okay to be whomever it is that you want to be,” Lady Gaga said in an interview with London’s Daily Mail. “You don’t have to have sex to feel good about yourself, and if you’re not ready, don’t do it.”

And, if you’re lucky enough to score a ticket to one of her concerts, the “Bad Romance” singer says you’ll get a free reminder of her personal message of celibacy.

“If you are ready, there are free condoms given away at my concerts when you’re leaving,” she said.

The “Bad Romance” singer is preaching a women’s right to choose to have sex as the newest face of MAC’s AIDS awareness Viva Glam campaign, along with pop icon Cyndi Lauper.

“I’m single right now and I’ve chosen to be single because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody,” Lady Gaga said. “So it’s okay not to have sex, it’s okay to get to know people. I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine.”
